Privacy and cookie policy
The short version: this website does not set a single cookie of its own, does not track you and does not store anything you type.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking and no account system. That is why you are not seeing a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
How we count visits
We do use one number: how many people looked at each page and on which page they pressed the WhatsApp or Call button. That is measured by the web server writing a line in its own log, plus a 1-pixel image served from this same domain when a contact button is pressed. No cookie, no identifier, no profile, nothing shared with anyone. It tells us that a page was useful; it cannot tell us who you are.
The booking form
What you type into the form never travels to a server of ours. It is assembled into a message in your own browser and handed to WhatsApp when you press the button. From that moment your data is a WhatsApp conversation between you and us, covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
The map
The contact page can show a Google Map. It does not load until you click on it, because Google sets its own cookies as soon as it does. If you never click, Google is never contacted from this page.
Fonts and images
Everything is served from our own server, including the fonts. Your IP address is not sent to Google Fonts or to any content network.
The weather strip
The homepage shows the current weather in Cabarete. That figure is requested from Open-Meteo, a free public weather service that requires no account and sets no cookies. Only the request itself leaves your browser: no data about you is sent, and your location is never asked for. The coordinates used are always the same, those of Cabarete.
The currency selector
Prices are shown in US dollars. If you switch the selector to euros or Dominican pesos, the page asks a public exchange-rate service (open.er-api.com) for today's rate. That single request only happens if you change the currency yourself, and it carries no data about you beyond the connection itself.
What we keep after you book
Once you write to us on WhatsApp, we keep what we need to drive you: your name, phone, flight number, date, address and any note you send. We use it for the trip and to answer you again if you come back. We do not sell it, do not publish it and do not share it with anyone except the driver assigned to your trip.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Write to the same WhatsApp number and it is done. If you booked from the European Union, that request is covered by the GDPR and we answer it within 30 days.
Server logs
Like every website, the server records the address of visitors and which pages were requested. Those logs are technical, are used for security and are not linked to any person.
